Two trains
approach clark and lake at the same speed except one train has

because it has cancer and its passengers are people and people
are the only known causes of cancer. The train is dreaming that
is it moving. that is why is has stopped.

lay face
down in a crawl space and scream hallelujah to yourself. scream
until you are sick in the heart
~~~
a field eaten alive by fire still humble
and still obliged to burn. She would fall to her knees the same
way rain fell to the fields.
he had buried coyotes under an eden he would never have to know.
